You could classify the different catergories of food in your pantry by the types of it. If you keep bread, wheat, cereal, or grain in your top level of your pantry, that could be classified as the Grains catergory. The next shelf down you could have condensed milk, beans, tuna, and soup in cans. That could be classified as the can level. Try this in your fridge as well with fruits, vegetables, dairy, and grains as catergories and classify what types of food are in these catergories and where they are placed in your fridge. Good luck with your essay!

Lol! That sounds like fun. I’ve never written a classification essay, but here’s what I’d do:

Thesis: Something along the lines of “There are 5 types of dairy products in my fridge.”

Paragraph one: “The first item in my fridge that qualifies as dairy is yogurt. Yogurt is made out of cows milk that has been… etc, etc (explain what yogurt is and why it’s a dairy product)

Paragraph two: “The second item in my fridge is cheese. Cheese is… etc (explain what cheese it…)

Just do this for all of the dairy products. I’m not even sure if this is what a classification essay is, but it sounds like it would be one. Good luck with it! Hopefully this helped.

You have to make an essay on what is in your pantry or fridge, huh? Hmm…awkward, but it seems easy. Try to keypoint something inside either one, and then talk more about it, then do the same with the next object, and so on. I’ve done that with reports and essays, and gotten 100s and A+s!

I hesitated to write you because of the unseemly language used in your question. The ? could have been asked just as well, better even, without being vulgar.

But to the ?–

My 1st thought would be to classify the items in your pantry into the basic food groups. The foods would be a sub-group. The 2 primary categories could be “edibles” and “inedibles”. People do place many strange things in their food storage spaces, and I believe you would have an interesting point to make if you took this route:

I. Inedibles

A. Paper goods

B. Found objects

C. Important artifacts

D.-……………..whatever

II. Edibles
