help in proofs?

so this is the question:

angle a equals to angle b, and angle a is also complementary to angle p . angle b is complementary to angle q. give a reason why angle p equals angle q.

i get how they equal each other, but i dont know how to show my answer. do i draw a diagram, make a 2 column proof, or express it in words. and if im supposed to say it in words, how do i say it? i get the whole ceoncept of why they’re equal and stuff, but i dont know how to display the answer. thanks.

< A = < B (congruent) < A + < P = 180 (complementary) < B + < Q = 180 (complementary) < A + < P = < B + < Q since < A = < B, < A + < P = < A + < Q < A - < A + < P = < Q < P = < Q
