I’m referring it to The Library…is it okay to be capitalized?

When you’re refering the library name, such as the Memorial Library, then it is capitalized. When you refer to it as the library, it is just a noun and not a proper noun (or name of the facility).

Only capitalize when referring to the specific name. Use lower case when it stands alone in further references.
