For -1…

-(-1) – (1) + (-1) + 8 = 7

For 0 = 8

For 2 = -(8) – (4) + 2 + 8 = -2

Mine are right… I am a math teacher… the two above me are wrong for Number 1

Oh this is easy..all u gotta do is plug in these values into the equation and get the separate answers for each.

1) -(-1)^3 – (-1)^2 + (-1) + 8

= 1 – 1 – 1 + 8

= -1 + 8

= 7

2) -(0)^3 – (0)^2 + (0) + 8

= 0 – 0 + 0 + 8

= 8

3) -(2)^3 – (2)^2 + (2) + 8

= -8 – 4 + 2 + 8

= -10 + 8

= -2

So these are your answers. Enjoy 🙂

All you have to do is plug in the numbers.

-(-1)^3 – (-1)^2 +(-1) + 8 = 1 -1 -1 +8 = 7

-(0)^3 – (0)^2 + 0 + 8 = 0 – 0 + 0 +8 = 8

-(2)^3 – (2)^2 + (2) + 8 = -8 -4 + 2 + 8 = -2
