geometry problem!!!!! Need help!!!!!!?

In triangle RST, the bisector of angle R meets line RS at X. RS=15, ST=27, TR=18. Find RX.

Do you mean the bisector of RS meets at X?? If you do…here’s how you solve it:

Try to draw a picture.

A triangle’s corners are labeled R, S, T. A bisector is what cuts the line in half. If X bisects RS, then it cuts RS in half. RS is 15, and X is in the middle, so basically it’s 15 divided by 2= 7.5
