on the third one, the answer is a because the lenghths of the two shortest sides must be greater than the longest side.
2B I forgot the name of this theory but when the altititude is drawn you actually form two new similar triangles so their ratios are equal
say that the hypotenuse as two segments a and b
a+b=hypotenesue => b=20-a let altitude = 8
since they are similar triangles a/8=8/b now let b=4 so a will equal 16 when you solve it
3A the difference between any two sides of a triangle cant be longer than the 3rd side otherwise that cant be a triangle (meaning you cant draw a triangle with those lengths as sides, on to paper) only for example you cant draw a triangle with the sides 1,3 and 5
