2 3/4=11/4
5/3×11/4x.2/1=11/12 Place a on over the .2
Multiply all of the numerators together and all of your nominators together. mame sure your answer is reduced to lowest terms.
1 and 2/3 is equal to 5/3
as you multiply the denominator by the leading coefficient (in this case 3 x 1 = 3) and then add the numerator (3+2 =5) all over the original denominator
2 and 3/4 equals 11/4
0.2 means two tenths, so write as such 2/10 reduces to 1/5
(5/3)(11/4)(1/5)
use the form (a/b)(c/d) = ac/bd
(5 x 11 x 1)/(3 x 4 x 5) look for common factors (fives cancel out)
11 x1 / 3 x 4
11/12
2 3/4 = 11/4
0.2 = 2/10
5/3 x 11/4 = 55/12
55/12 x 2/10= 110/120 = 11/12 = 0.9167
to get the same denominator, u turn the mixed fractions into proper fractions. and then you find a common denominator, which wud be 12, and then after getting equivilent fractions( 20/12 and 33/12), you’d add both of the fractions to get 43/12.
If you multiply that by 0.2, i THINK that y’d get…something like 0.71666666666666666666666666666666666666.
