Find the measure of an angle that is one – half of its supplement?
So how do i do this. I can’t figure out the equation for it any help?

Let a = measure of angle you are given
then 180 – a is its supplement
Note: supplementary angles add up to 180 degrees
take the number you have computed above and divide by 2 to find half its supplement
so x = (180-a)/2
if given an angle of 90 degrees, then using formula above, you will get 45 degrees as angle half its supplement

the equation for supplement is (180-x) so if you need to find half it would be 180-x divided by 2. If they gave you a number in the problem then lets say they gave you angle a is 2 then it would be 2=(108-x) divided by 2
