Find the derivative of the given function Y= (3/x^2)-8 4√x?

The answer I am looking for is – (6/x^3)-(2/x^3/4), what is the thought process to get there? Thanks

u will get the answer if u use the rule

d/dx(x^n)=n(x^n-1)

so..it will be

3*-2(x^-2-1) – 8*1/4(x^1/4-1)

= – (6/x^3)-(2/x^3/4)

-6x^(-3) – 42x^(-1/2) * x^(1/2)

or

-6/x^3 – 42/x^(1/2) * √x

let me know if u need some help understanding it!

hope it helps
