Extra Credit Idea?

Im failing a class I think and I need to do some extra credit.

My teacher told me to be creative. He would excpt anything. It’s a World History Class and we are learning about the Romans. I thought about doing a time line but that sounds really boring and my sister (she’s in the same class) is doing ABC’s of Rome. I wanted something really easy but really creative.

Any ideas??

make up a triva game or you could write a short play based on one aspect of roman life (mythology, a major battle, etc.) make a poster with pictures of modern buildings that are based on Roman architecture as well as pictures of buildings that would have been seen in Rome, explain the similarities and differences and the import of each building. make a college to depict a day in the life of a roman (farmer, soldier, whatever you want) include a sheet explaining the importance of each item (can also fill a shoe box with items they may have used if you don’t want to make a poster) you may also want to wirte a short paper describing a day in the life of “your” roman, or as if you were actually alive during that time. maybe build a model building or a tool they would have used. If you like to write you could always do a short story about a Roman who was transported to a different time period and have them compare it to their own (rember to describe where they came from and what life was like). Just a few ideas, hope it helps

How about a day in the life of a Roman child/woman/man? Start with a map, a menu of foods, clothes worn, occupations, education, religious beliefs, ect.. Give the person you are talking about a Roman name that was popular. I’ve been told that 75% of the men at one time were named “Gaius”. Anything you do will show some effort on your part. That’s what your teacher is looking for.

Find a topic that is really interesting to you, something you have studied just a little bit in class, and do a full research paper on that topic.

Your teacher isn’t going to give you a lot of extra credit for something that is “really easy” so that won’t help you if you’re failing. Just being honest.

Present the style of clothes they wore….draw or reenact a scene from the romans…or a biography of someone significant in rome.
