I have to write a one pager characterizing someone I know. What does that mean?

that is when you describe a person and their charater traits…. for example..Barney is a kind and friendly dinosor.He is friendly and outgoing.( sorry for the bad example but i couldnt think of anything better

Characterization can be accomplished in two ways. Direct characterizations…what the character says that shows his personality; and indirect characterization…the characters actions and the reactions of others to the character. So if you have to characterize someone you know, I would start with a physical description and move into what is it about this person that makes him/her worthy of your words. What is it about this person that makes him/her special?
