Don’t know them all but…

2. The first pretty is an adjective because it modifies the noun girl. The second pretty is an adverb because it modifies the adjective big.

3. “because I was sick” is an adverbial clause and cannot be used as a predicate nominative. Because is the subordinating conjunction that makes it an adverbial clause. “The reason for my absence is illness” would be correct because illness is a noun and can be used as a predicate nominative.

4. “Some people think that refer back involves redundancy, because one of the implicit meanings of re- is ‘back.'” See sources for that one.

First of all, it is “grammar” not “grammer.” I would break the sentence into two parts, as follows: I have overcome great life-changing trials. I cannot imagine the type of person I would be if I had not had these experiences.

Girl Person 😀
1) kind (type), kind (a little)

2) pretty (attractive), pretty (very)

3) the sentence doesn’t need the word ‘because’ in it.

4) um i have no idea that doesnt make sense

5) ?????

1) Look in your grammar handbook for adverbs&adjectives

2)Look in your dictionary under “pretty.”

3) Look in your grammar handbook for passive voice

4) Look in your grammar handbook for pronouns or in your writing style book (if not included in the grammar book) for clarity when using pronouns.

5) Look in your dictionary under “unique.” If you can understand the meaning, then you’ll know what’s wrong with the sentence.

Can’t do your homework for you, but I can point you in the right direction.

I agree with gorge momma.

You can’t ask others to do your homework.
