Colonization/expansion: England began colonizing the New World (America) with the JAMESTOWN settlement, and ended up with 13 colonies along the eastern seaboard of what is now the United States. New England’s development was, however, limited by the geographical barrier of the Appalachians and France’s outposts along the Mississippi.
Religion: HENRY VIII founded the Anglican church in the 1500s, as Rome would not grant him a divorce. There was bitter rivalry between CATHOLICS and PROTESTANTS. EDWARD VI introduced the BOOK OF COMMON PRAYER.
MARY TUDOR brought England back into the fold of the Catholic church. ELIZABETH I was Protestant, and MARY QUEEN OF SCOTS (MARY STUART) was a threat to her, because Catholics supported her claim to the English throne. JAMES I of England introduced the KING JAMES BIBLE.
Internal/external problems: The struggle between Catholics and Protestants was an internal problem. The struggle between England, France, and Spain was an external problem.
(Google or Wikipedia the names in upper-case letters for more information on specific topics.)
You could even try reading your text book.
I would be happy to help you, but you aren’t asking for help. You’re asking someone to do your research for you, and that’s not the same as help.
And you wonder why us “old” people ask what the world’s coming to.
