Lowest common multiple

breaking into prime factors:

4 = 2×2

6 = 2×3

to get LCM, find a set of numbers that includes all of the factors of each…. 4 has two 2’s and 6 has one 2 and 1 3.

we need two 2’s and one 3…… 2x2x3 = 12

2)

these are already primes

3) 3 is prime…. 12 can be gotten from #1

and i will let you get 15….

The Least Common multiple of 2 or more numbers is the smallest multiple they have in common. List the multiples of each number and stop when you find a match.

4: 4,8,12,16,20…

6: 6,12,

LCM = 12

Now try the rest…..
