Does anyone know a lot about English puncuation rules about book titles?
I just got a project back today where I spent hours compared to my classmate’s 10 minutes on making my “postcard”book project perfect. I made intricate designs and everything. Now when I was explaining about my postcard in the part where I was supposed to say if I like it or not, i accidentally put the book title in “quotations” instead of underlining it.
Now, i understand that I probably made a mistake…but what I thought was ridiculous was that I got marked down from a 100% to an 84% JUST because I marked that one thing with quotations instead of underlining it. My rubic had every category as 5 points, except for that one that got no points, just because of this one punctuational error. A fellow classmate on the other hand made three errors and recieved a 92%. He was one of them that spend 10 minutes.
I approached my teacher about this after class, and she said that it “looks nice” but now ill never make this mistake again… what do you think aboutit

You sound like a great student, though, so rest assured, in the long run, you will have greater success in life than the 10 minute genius you lost to this time.
