how would you write a discriptive paragraph on seashells? im not asking what to write, im asking how would you write it…like the techniques?

First you need to think about and read about seashells. Jot down ideas about what you might write -different kinds, shapes, colors, where they can be found, size, etc. Make a list of descriptive words you might want to use – smooth, spiral, etc. Try to think of interesting words, ones that will help the reader to visualize what you are talking about. Form the jot note ideas into sentences, incorporating the words.

Write the paragraph from your point of view. If you have a seashell, pick it up, feel it, turn it over. Just write what you see and the feelings it brings as you do this. If you don’t have one, find some pictures of them and do the same thing. Make the person reading it actually ‘feel’ what you are writing about the seashell.
