crisis and challenge?

Does any1 no what it means by ‘Life will always present us with crises and challenges and when it comes to the ways we deal with them there will be similarities and differences in our responses’?….by the way this is for a speech and i have to write on two fictional and one non fiction books…any suggestions for books…thanx in advance

They are trying to write a theme which can be used for many different books.

How different are people? Do they behave differently because of themselves? Or is it the situation they are in?

To get high marks if I was marking it you would have to consider whether the person and give any examples of how they are described as different or shown as different.

What you should try to do is identify books with specific challenges and analyse the responses nin terms of howw (And how far) the situtation shows the individual.

Take Mark Haddon’s book

The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-time

The challenge would be how he deals with the incident in the title, and you would get a great deal of difference in how he responds because of his autistic spectrum disorder. It would be a challenge however because you do not get direct summaries of “he does this because” so you would need to add descriptions and add these carefully
