1. Writing: the second era of civilization began when writing began to become a huge factor. No longer were histories passed along through story tellers, but history and experiences of people were documented.
2. Arts: (See Aristotle’s Politics) Basically, it gives a way for humans to emulate emotion through something other than emotion itself. ie, a piece of music that moves you to tears
3. (Hmmm… I would say organized govs, but I forget the points that I learned last year. :P)
