Can you answer a few Math Review questions for me?

Ok, so, I need someone to answers these questions on my math review. There are only 5. It would really help if you could also show me how the problem is worked out, so that I can do better in the future. The fractions/ division problems are written as 1/2.

1. The average velocity (speed) v of any object is found using the formula v = d / t. If a car is moving at a constant speed and travels 12 kilometers in 20 minutes, find its velocity in kilometers per hour.

2. Simplify: 7.23 x 10 to the – 4 power.

3. Use unit analysis to solve the following. (Please show work using unit analysis)

a. 30 fl oz = _____ qt

b. 2.3 m = _______ km

4. Name the property being illustrated.

x(3 + y) = 3x + xy

5. Simplify:

– 2 2/7 – (-4)

Well, that’s all, thanks for your time!!! =]

1. v = 12km / 20/60min

v = 12km / 1/3hr

v = 36km/hr

2. 7.23*10^-4 = 7.23 * .0001 = 0.000723

3a. who uses the imperial system these days? not me. search imperial conversions on google.

3b. 1000m = 1km so,

2.3m / 1000 = 0.0023m

4. this one is tough… grade 9 math is a long way back! I think it was called ‘distribution’, but that is going on memory alone. Double-check that.

5. -2 2/7 – (-4) = -16/7 + 4 = 28/7 – 16/7 = 12/7 = 1 5/7

first one is 9^(x^10) fairly intimidating – it does exist, in spite of the undeniable fact that it fairly is largely a quantity and might’t injury you 🙂 2nd is 9^(10x) i will’t see the type you would be able to desire to remedy it good now yet to get the respond of a variable in an exponent use a logarithm. bear in suggestions which you have regulations with your logs 2 definite c exist – All c the place c isn’t 0 y=(-x-one million) / c desire this helps
