can u help me in these scientific sums???(abt celsius to fahrenhie)t?
2. convert 86 defree fahrenhiet to celsius
…………………………….plz help me to solve them
Favorite Answer
use the formula
c/5=(f-32)/9
its the easiest way
try it out n do it urself
From fahrenheit to celsius, (9/5)c +32
For the first one, you would use formula number 2
a little shortcut in using this formula is to multiply the 25 by 9 and then divide the result by 5 and add that number to 32
For the second one, use the first formula
Here is how you would work that out just so you have a general idea:
25C to F?
(9*25 / 5) +32= 45+32= 77C
To check your work (and NOT to have the computer do the work for you, type into google 25 celsius in fahrenheit and sure enough, 77C is correct (see link below).
Celsius temperatures are generally smaller than Farenheit. To make them into Farenheit, you need to multiply by a number that makes them LARGER (9/5), and ADD a number to it (+32).
Example:
25 deg C = [25 * (9/5)]+32= 77 deg F
Farenheit temperatures are generally larger than Celsius. To make them into Celcius, you need to SUBTRACT a number from it that will make it SMALLER (32), and you need to multiply a number that makes it SMALLER (5/9).
86 deg F = [(86-32)*(5/9)] = 30 deg C
