“Writing Task: Some Students at your school expressed an interest in making the school more attractive by getting rid of the trash on the school grounds.

To what extent do you agree or disagree withthe students?

You should probably agree with the students, and here are some reasons why:

1. Students will be more willing to go to a nice looking school than one that looks like a dumpster.

2. Students can earn community service by picking up trash.

3. Students can understand the importance of not littering and protecting our environment.

4. Students can realize that it is easier to throw away your trash in the first place than to pick it up after.

5. Teachers can model a lesson around saving the environment for future generations and the effects of littering.
