can someone please help me think of what these phrases could mean?
what do you think these phrases mean? they were once from the indian culture but now the english use them. (us) okay well anyways what do you GUESS that each one could mean?
1. “bury the hatchet”
2. “go on the warpath”
3. “put on war paint”
4. “smoke the peace pipe”
so please tell me what you think each phrase means. (also kind of explain) thanks! i have tried but i cant think and like i said just guess, you dont have to be right but make it at least make sence!!
