This is WAY easier than you think. A noun is a person, place or thing, right? So a PROPER noun is a SPECIFIC person, place, or thing.

1. To get a list of proper nouns that are specific people, just look in the phone book! Example: “Don Smith”

2. To get a list of proper nouns that are specific places, just look in an atlas! Example: “Mississippi”

3. To get a list of proper nouns that are specific things is a bit harder, but you could look on eBay. Example: “Monopoly” (a specific game)

Best wishes to you!

A noun is a person, place, or thing. A proper noun is simply the name of a person, a place, or a thing. Golden Gate Bridge, Governor Schwartznegger, Africa, Aunt Lucy, Georgie, Texas and so on, etc, etc., etc.
