Can anyone explain to me scientific conversions?
I know yahoo answers is not the best place to ask this, but I asked my science teacher and he did not help. For homework, I have a science conversions sheet where I have to write it from the biggest to the smallest ex: gram is bigger than kilogram) . I really don’t understand this and I am having a test on it next tuesday. Any help with detailed explanations would be greatly appreciated. Whoever does this the best will get a best answer. Thanks!

You need to know the basic units (preferably of the SI system) and the prefixes. Study the tables on the following page:
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/SI
You’ll be fine.

Go here for a chart on the smallest to biggest:
http://dbhs.wvusd.k12.ca.us/webdocs/Metric/Metric-Prefixes.html
It’s towards the bottom of the page.
Gram is in the middle, where its blank
