Bonus History Question…?

Could the American colonists have worked things out with the British or was rebellion inevitable?

What might be the American colonists and British have done, if anything, to appease each other and avoid conflict?

It might have been worked out. At his point it is of course conjecture.

The colonists and the British had a common language, tradition, and a history of some rights going back to the Magna Charta of 1215.

Some voice of the colonists in the British Parliament may have helped. After all the slogan was no taxation without representation.

I would say nothing’s inevitable. I believe they could have worked things out. It wasn’t impossible. It’s just like it is now, people can choose to work things out and get along or work together, or they can get in fights and refuse to work together or get along.

So, I don’t think it was impossible for them to work it out. and the second question, there could have been lots of things. Just look at the little things that resulted in conflict and say what could have been done instead.

How much of a bonus question is this? It could have a very very long answer, like the first answerer said, its really open ended.

good luck.
