Biology question …..help please!?

OSMOSIS

When will water stop moving across a membrane?

On which side of a selectively permeable membrane does osmosis exert pressure?

Is the following question true or false? Water tends to diffuse from a region where it is highly concentrated.

please help me…….Ive looked for help just about everywhere and i really did try to answer the questions but I am totally lost!

Please help me!

The answer to question one is when both sides are equally balanced.

Not sure about question two and don’t want to screw you up…

The answer to question three is true.

You can remember this by knowing that the cell always wants to be equally balanced. So if one side of the cell has 3 units and the other 5 units, (I know this isn’t the right unit of measurement, but it’s easier to picture with whole numbers) the side with 5 units will tranfer some of its units to the other side. If the cell has too many units on the inside, it becomes hypotonic, and might burst. If it had too few units, it becomes hypertonic and will shrivel up. (Go to google and look at a few pictures of hypo- and hypertonic cells to cement this in your mind.)
