beowulf help!?
I have to write an short essay about a question on a test I have in english that has to do with Beowulf. It goes something like this:
Greeks, and Germans believe that fame and glory is the only thing that survives a human beings death. What evidence is important about it being placed on a persons reputation.
I dont remember what I wrote down on my paper but i would like some extra help 🙂

Well, the way I would answer this question is that back during the Anglo-Saxon period, people believed that fighting and battling was the way to settle disputes. That’s why Beowulf tore off Grendel’s arm. So if you say the Greeks and Germans thought battling was important and they would be looked up to and be seen as strong, if they won a battle.
That is the best I can do. I read Beowulf last year for English…..good luck on your test!
