Pick a topic that you already know a lot about. It then requires much less research, and you can add stories of experience to make your talk more personal, and attention grabbing for your audience.
For example, I’m a nurse now, but for my college communications class I had to do 2 or 3 speeches. I did one on CPR and why people should learn to do it. I was already CPR certified, and had many of the materials needed to do research on the topic.
Pick something that you are passionate about and your passion will shine through, and your talk will not only be one of a kind, but will earn you an “A”. Good luck!!

find lots of images on Google for a slide show
there are legends about what the aurora really is/means.
Many people say they hear a sound ( like a hiss) when the Aurora is clear, but no sound seems to record on scientific instruments.
