American history homework,Help.I need to memorize every state in the map and place it and..?

I’m in U.S history honors.School just recently started she gave us homework,she gave us 3 blanks maps.We need to place the states where they belong and the other map has the rivers expect it’s blanks as well.In this one we need to place the rivers once we do so we study it,give it to her on Wednesdays then we have a test where we need to place them all again.

How can I easily memorize the 5 rivers and all 50 states in the map in order to pass this test.I know everyone should at least know where each is located but i’ve never got the chance to.

What is a good way to memorize it,I have till Wednesday.
