Algebra Help!!! If f(x + y) = f(x) + f(y) and f(1) = 3, find f(2), f(3), and f(4)?

If f(x + y) = f(x) + f(y) and f(1) = 3, find f(2), f(3), and f(4). Show all work. Is f(x + y) = f(x) + f(y) for all functions? Justify your answer.

I don’t even know where to begin. Please Help!

if f(1) = 3 then f(2) = f(1+1) = f(1) + f(1) = 6

f(3) = f(2+1) = f(2)+f(1) = 6+3 = 9

f(4) = f(2+2) = 2f(2) = 12

f(x+y) = f(x)+ f(y) is not true for all f(x), f(y)

single letter variables only no functions .xy means means x*y.(x-1)means x*(x 1sin (x) mean s*is**i*n*(x)i*ff*(x+y)=f*(x)+f*(y)*a*ND1=3 got lost sorry
