If you just want to find the slope of the line, then u use the formula
y2-y1 / x2 – x1
which would be
(-1/2 – 1/2) / (1/5 – 3/5)

It’s 0. The strategy for finding slope is rise/run, or rise over run. The points are on the y axis. so the rise is 0, and it runs 2/5. So the equation is 0 over 2/5. 0 divided by 2/5 is 0

Slope means the gradient and if two points are already given to you
x1 , y1 x2 , y2
( 0.6,0.5) ( 0.2,0.5)
( I’ve written the fractions in decimals)
Now you simply substitute the x and y values in the following equation
y2-y1 0.5-0.5 0
——— = ———- = —— = 0
x2-x1 0.2 -0.6 -0.4
Im not sure the slope exists.

(y2-y1)/(x2-x1) = (-1/2-1/2)/(1/5-3/5)=(-1/(-2/5))= 5/2
Answer= 5/2
