A line is formed passing through (6,-3) and parallel to 5x-6y=6?

i solved for it and this is what i got (parallel):

slope:5/6

point-slope form: y+3=5/6(x-6)

slope-intercept form: y=5/6x-12/6

standard form: 5/6x+-y=2

and for perpendicular:

slope: -6/5

point slope form:y+3=-6/5(x-6)

slope-intercept form: y=-6/5-51/5

standard form: -6/5x+y=-51/5

please check. i am a little rusty on this.

5x-6y=6

y=(5/6)x-1

slope of parallel line is (5/6)

y+3=(5/6)(x-6)

y+3=(5/6)x – 5

y=(5/6)x-8 (slope-intercept, same slope different intercept) or

y+(5/6)x=-8 or

6y+5x=-48 (more standardized without fractions)

Since the question did not ask for perpendicular, I won’t retype, but you are correct in that the slope in the negative inverse.
