3rd Grade Homework-Alien in Jupiter?
My daughter is in 3rd grade. She has an assignment where she needs to create an Alien using household items. She chose Jupiter as the planet where the alien would come from. I need some help….any suggestions. We checked out books from the library, but I have no idea where to begin and I’m not crafty.

I would make sure the alien has some sort of adaptations to survive life on jupiter. For example, fur coat to provide warmth,etc. Use a coffee can as the body and she can glue on paper towel rolls or something for arms and legs. She could cover it with fabric or paper. Just make sure she does it and you help- not the other way around. 🙂 I’m a teacher- we can tell when its the parents project, not the kids.

get a Styrofoam ball and shape it as an alien head(obviously paint it green). can you pipe cleaners for antennas. use a toilet paper roll as the body with some kind of shiny material to wrap around it (as the space clothes)
