What would you do if your Teacher was intentionally giving you low marks, when you deserved a higher mark?

teachers have to have assessment documents. They need to keep records of what score you have been given and why. If yu are not at the average they need to say why you were below or above. Have your parents ask the teacher what the problem is. If you continue to have the problem speak with the principal. Beware: the principal will have the teachers back unless it is obvious that the teacher isn’t keeping proper documents.

Ask your teacher in the future to give you a rubric that you can follow so that you can be sure to meet all of the expectations.

Sorry I just relized that you posted this in higher Education. Most of this still applies, however, that being said university and college teachers have no clue on how to be teachers (not meaning to offend anyone). They don’t go to school to know the best way to teach different intelligences, they are experts in their field. So that being said, many of these teachers/professors just do what they want. Talk with your advisor/dean and ask your prof/teacher for the rubric. Make sure everything they ask for is clearly laid out. Make sure everything is clear and get it in writing. That way when you do what they ask, and don’t get the mark you can ask why you didn’t. You can challenge any mark you receive – but this can often back fire. I wish you luck!
