My son finished the 8th grade in public school with straight F’s and went from that to straight A’s and B’s being home schooled. Online charter schools are considered the same as public schooling. My son graduated an online charter school and now attends University of Dayton ( a private university ) with scholarships.

Home schooling can work for some. The student needs to be self disciplined enough to do the work and care. Generally less work is involved with an online charter school than in a regular public school. You are also able to work at your own pace. k12 will customize your curriculum and make sure you are where you need to be.

This is the school my other children are now attending,

Depending on where you live they may be a help, if not, there are online charter schools all over.

They will provide you with the computer, printer, supplies and books that you need as well as teachers and academic advisors. This is the same as a public school but ONLINE at home.

If you choose not to use a virtual school , yes you can still purchase k12 products. http://v7.k12.com/independence.html…

What is your grade level, and are you looking to do a “public school at home” program or authentic online homeschooling? With “public school at home” programs, you are usually accountable to a certified public school teacher and have guidelines regarding when you turn in your work and which subjects you need to take.

With an authentic online homeschooling program, you will have more flexibility regarding the courses you choose, the time line for completing them, etc.

If you answer this question, we could help.

I go to American Home School the website is down below. It’s not that bad except for the Geometry but other than that I like it. Only 16 and I’m about to go to college and start early! You only need 16 credits and they use what you have from Highschool already IF it’s one of there required classes. Only cost 50.00 a month. It’s accredited too and you get to choose some of your classes known as electives.

You do your paintings at your possess speed . My boy was once residence schooled for two years and was once an honor scholar . The instructor will name and spot how he’s doing as soon as every week . All homework that demands to be checked by means of the trainer is distributed to him by means of mail … Home education is the high-quality technique to do it personally …. You can excursion and take the computer so the scholar can do residence paintings and benefit from the household !!!!
