If you have Microsoft Word there is actually a template. Here is a basic outline for a resume.

Name

Address

Telephone number

Email

Objective: (A description of the position you are looking to fill: example: “To work for a large equal opportunity company that offers career longevity, excellent pay and benefits, and a chance to excel.”

Work History (Position held, company, city, state and dates)

– Worked as an administrative assistant for such and such a company: duties included: etc.

At the end include a section for education, your short and long term goals, and hobbies or interests.

Hi, I think this looks like a pretty good help for a resume:

http://www.careersonline.com.au/easyway/res/sample1.html

If not, I got that from a Google “I’m Feeling Lucky” search, so try Yahoo or Google search if the one I gave you isn’t suitable. I’m sure you can find hundreds of results! πŸ™‚

Also, Microsoft Word has an option under “Format” I believe, for resumes, cover letters, envelopes, etc. πŸ™‚

Good luck with the resume πŸ˜€

If you’re on a windows program, chances are you’ve already got one.

Look under Microsoft Works or Microsoft Office, there’s usually a *resume wizard* or at least a template under the new documents section.
