Sulphuric acid is a distribution of ions in water.
You’re supposed to write an expression that starts with those ions plus magnesium, and ends with the precipitate and the new set of ions. You’ll be marking your elements and radicals with little plus and minus signs to show the ionic valence of each.
Does that do it?
