First of all that kind of deception is not what you should be involved in.

Request an official transfer to the school of your choice, often these will be granted.

There may be a fee that you have to pay to attend a school outside of your district, but not all the time.

Personally I would not want to attend school, and have to worry every day about not being able to be honest with my class mates, and possible new friends as to where I lived, and not be able to have them come to my house and hang out;.

How long do you think that will last?

How many lies will you have to tell to cover up the first one?

Request the transfer.

Err….I reckon the pair of you have got Buckley’s of making it work.

You must be seriously deluded if you reckon no-one’s going to notice that two families are supposedly living at the same address! Reckon it’ll take the school authorities about a week (max) to realise it’s a con and a pretty unsophisticated schoolboy one at that, assuming they don’t question it before you even make it through the door.

They already know fullwell that plenty of people use a relative’s address to make it appear they live in the catchment zone or families suddenly start going to church just so they can get the kids into the local Catholic school…they’re already wise to the101 or more far more sophisticated ploys than the one you’re proposing to buck the system.

Yes you can get in trouble. It’s illegal to provide false information like that on a school application.

Instead of trying to go to the same school in an illegal manner, talk to each other in the evenings, have a homework night once a week, go out on the weekends or request the transfer someone mentioned.

Besides, you shouldn’t be thinking about whether you’d get in trouble or not, but about whether it’s the right thing to do or not. Maintain some integrity.

I did the same thing a few years ago. But instead, i used my uncle’s address. Yes you can get into a bit of trouble if you get caught, I don’t think you’ll be fined or go to jail, but they’ll send youi to the school you belong to.

Which is why you do not want to get caught. They are going to ask for your parents’ license and a utility bill proving that you live there. It’s not as easy as just saying you live somewhere.

So my mom had to scan our gas bill into the computer and, using a similar font, change the address. It is a bit risky and you still may get caught.

So I would recommend just applying for a “school of choice” permit. It’s easier, you won’t have to lie, your report cards will be delivered to your house, no hassle, done!

Hope this helps 🙂

because of the fact they don’t comprehend too many homeschooled little ones, and that they are making an assumption consistent with what they have heard. in the event that they don’t look to be recommend approximately it, turn the different cheek and don’t be offended. they are going to locate it is not genuine as they get to comprehend you. it is not merely homeschooling. human beings, fairly youngsters, opt to greater healthy one yet another into tidy communities. all of us make assumptions. What do you anticipate approximately little ones you comprehend who’re not Christian? Or approximately little ones who attend actual colleges? you probable make some assumptions that are genuine approximately a number of them and not approximately others. by ability of how, it probable isn’t a great theory to characteristic human beings you don’t comprehend on facebook. do not provide out any own data.

I imagine that you could get in trouble. At the least you could be kicked out when they find out.

By the way, did you notice that this is homeschooling section? Its about homeschooling, not Public Schooling.

why are you asking this question in the homeschooling section????

Don’t you think you would get the best possible answers in the primary and secondary education section???

and since you asked, lying is never a good idea, and yes you will get in trouble, and your parents, and your friend and their parents.

Lying is always messy, don’t do it.

You “can” get in some trouble, but only if you get caught. It would be safe to have a spare room in the house where that person would be “living” incase the state wants to check (which prob wouldn’t happen); but I figure as long as you don’t say anything about it you would be fine.

Only if you get caught. I know people that use their family members address that live near the school of choice. I dunno how it is in your State/City/County or country even.
