Okay my parents signed me up for Florida virtual school about 8 weeks ago but I’ve been in public school all my life and I’m having a hard time getting use to things and I was wondering if anyone else having the same problems as me.( If so please tell me what you think)

i have used florida virtual school before and its pretty easy. The only thing is you have to read a lot of information because the teacher isnt there to tell it to you. but when you take tests and quizzes, you can have your notes out so that makes it easier.

My boys are enrolled in Ohio Virtual Academy. When we switched out of the b&m school and decided to do this, my 7th grade son had a hard time with the transition. It was very different from what he was used to. It took him a bit before he got comfortable with the curriculum and felt ok about going over the material himself. I am there to provide support and answer questions, but he’s pretty independent. You just have to make sure you stay on track and get done everyday what you intended to get done….at least for the most part. That way you aren’t behind. You can also get in touch with your teacher and he/she may be able to offer some suggestions to help you adjust.

As I suppose in virtual school is online school so you don’t need to come online daily, you just have to appear in online exams and tests..

I used FLVS before. It’s very easy to use. I had a lot of support from the teachers, too. My advice is to always ask questions. Don’t be afraid to send them an email asking for help. They are there to help you so always ask.
