does anyone else find math relaxing?
i’m not a nerd or anything, but whenever i do math or algebra, i feel so relaxed and calm. i think it’s something about how you need to focus your mind on nothing else, and it’s like a method almost. i feel great when i solve something. i don’t know, it’s kind of odd. am i totally out of the ordinary or are there others that like to do that too?

ya i tihnk its cuz math always has a correct answer, if your right your right and if your wrong your wrong. wheras life just is so confusing!!!

Actually, I loved math in college. Had I had the chance, I would have minored in it. The classes were mainly lecture, but I felt like I learned something instead of staring at powerpoint slides over and over again. I actually contributed my thought process to the class. It was something I had fun doing, which is probably why I like it so much. That and doing the homework assignments with a bunch of friends on a crappy day was a great way to just relax and hang out.
I am actually proud to call myself a nerd, but probably not a math one.

when im doing a math assignment, i forget about all my worries. Its especially cool when you go the right answerrr

but look at the millions that enjoy SUDOKU, using numbers and it relaxes people
