Work study?
How do I make sure that I actually get a job for work study? I receieved it, but I’m hearing that more people get work study than there are jobs?

On the first day of the semester go ask around your school’s Library, book store, Cafeteria, etc. on if they’ll take work study students. If you find a place, fill out all the paperwork ASAP.
I got a library work study, I didn’t hurry and all the available spots were gone. I worked weekends which wasn’t bad.

make sure that you search for a job ASAP once you start school and although a lot of people recieve work study, it has to be based on financial need and there is probably is enough jobs on campus for you so search hard and fast! Good Luck!

Doesn’t sound right to be. Free labor for the school and they don’t take advantage of it? no way…. Now there might only be a few good jobs but there are lots of crap jobs to be done for minimum wage.
