Here is a really good website that lists many lenders who offer private student loans. It breaks down the loan options available, borrowing limits, rates, fees, and terms individually for each lender in an easy to read chart.

Make sure you have exhausted all options for a Federal student loan, possibly a Perkins loan directly through your school, maybe your parents taking out a Federal PLUS loan…or even working out a payment plan with your school. Private loans tend to have much higher rates and fees and your deferment/forbearance rights are almost non existent after graduation.
