The best method for getting more aid would be to fill out your FAFSA the moment you file your taxes (next year; try to do this all at the end of January) as need based aid is often first come-first serve.
In addition to this, you can talk to financial aid office at the college you want to attend and see if they have a scholarship packet that you can fill out, or scholarship / aid workshops that you can attend.
I have been through 3 colleges and most of them offered these sorts of services, a great help when I needed it most.
All this failing, if you can get help from your parents you may be able to get a PLUS loan (Parent Loans for Undergraduate Students) or a third party loan with any credit worthy co-signer.
Good luck, it can be intimidating but it gets easier each year!
