If you did not apply for some kind of aid, grant, loan, scholarship, etc, then it is definitely a scam. Trust me, people aren’t going to find your e-mail address and offer you money for nothing, especially if they know absolutely nothing about you. Another rule of thumb regarding financial aid…if you have to pay for it, it’s a scam. Think about it, why should you have to give money to get money?
