Taking loans for school?

I want to transfer to a new school out of state, the thing is that I dont have a job. The thing I want to know is that if one can get a loan and pay for an apartment instead of living on campus, I am very very special about having people living with me in the same room. I need space. I am 25 yrs old and I know that I am not a dependant, so I don’t know how will my financial aid work, and how will the loan thing work aswell. any tips or help thanks

U don’t say wheither ur Grad student or still going after basic degree? U will need to contact the school ur applying to? Adults usually have very nice accomodations, u can get a private room in suite situation with private bath… it depends on school/ whats offered.

U can get regular loans from Chase and other banks for school which will consider room/board allowance. They won’t give a loan just because u want a better address. Depending on the town/city of the school ur going to… it can actually be cheaper. But the conviences of campus housing and all the amenities can be great reasons to stay on campus in Grad housing apartments, private rooms in dorms ect…

Fin Aid does look at what ur doing to contribute to ur support financially before they issue $. Most schools require FAFSA…

Students who are looking for a bad credit student loan should pick three schools they are most interested in, talk to the admissions office, and ask what is needed to apply in their school.A bad creditdepending on whether you are a homeowner or not. The rate of interest to be paid on unsecured bad credit student loans is higher than that on secured bad credit student loans. This is because the secured bad credit student loans are backed by your home as a security.
