late fafsa? do i get a refund?
I just filled up my fafsa form and currently in the processing stage. I’ve already paid my tuition fee for fall term. I’m hoping to be granted a financial aid since I’ve honestly answered all the questions. If ever I would be granted for financial aid do I get a refund? Or I would only be able to use it for spring term?

You should be granted Financial Aid for the entire year and you will be paid in the Spring, but you can reimburse your out of pocket expenses from the Fall, with the total (100%) amount of money paid to you in the Spring.

You will receive a refund per your school’s policy. If you wish to use the money for spring term, you can usually ask that the balance remain in your account, or just ask them to accept an early payment for your spring term tuition.
Just remember, though, that you may not be able to get that money out if you ask for it to be used for Spring term.

If you qualify then you will get money, usually mid semester
