There are many scholarships given out by government and other organisations every year. You can try for some online government scholarships or grants. Fill up online forms and see if you are selected for the scholarship.

Financial aid can be very confusing. For yourself, since you have 3 children, unmarried and you aren’t currently working, you should fill out a FAFSA (it’s a form for government education loans) as a single mom. You will most likely receive a very nice financial aid package. There is no fee for this service so make sure you aren’t being charged to file this form. You can also do it online.

The amount of financial aid you get is based on your income and whether you are full time or part time. The more money you make, the less money you can borrow from the government programs. Getting married is kind of like a double edge sword in terms of financial aid. There will be more mouths to feed however, his income will be considered when you go to apply for your financial aid.

You will get more being single. Being over 23, unmarried and with kids gives you access to more grants.
