Psychologist do make alot more $- thriving practice can be in the $90-$100,000 range (alot less if working in many county systems) but because the field is drastically changing many University are no longer continuing with their programs. Social Workers with accelerated degrees are doing the work for alot lower wages.

Go to your favorite university website: usually they have a career guidance office… there u will find lots of information on various degrees, what type of employment is currently available, course recommendations, salaries and other info… kinda like a career pathway.
