Financial Aid Question Pertaining to Age?
I’ll be enrolling on a community college within six months or so, and I’m wondering if I’ll be able to take out a student loan at such a young age? I’m going to be seventeen by the time I enroll, but will they approve me?

Well that depends. Will you have graduated from high school before you enroll, or are you taking the college classes concurrently? If you have already graduated, then yes you can take out federal student loans to attend college even at 17 years old. If you are doing it concurrently you can’t take out a federal loan to pay for your school.

I couldn’t find any information about age requirements on the government student loan website: http://studentaid.ed.gov/PORTALSWebApp/students/english/studentloans.jsp?tab=funding
The main requirement seems to be that you are enrolled in an eligible school at least part time. I say go ahead and fill out your FAFSA and see what happens with your financial aid letter from your school. It may be that your parents will need to cosign on your loan since you are under 18.
