You need to apply for a student loan via the FAFSA (Free Application for Federal Student Aid). By completing this application, you are applying for federally funded student loans. Talk to the financial aid office at your school to get started. DO NOT just apply for student loans via a website without getting proper information from a financial aid counselor. There are SO many scams out there, and completing the FAFSA is free and federally funded. The website is: http://www.fafsa.ed.gov/

ive heard they are horrible if you dont finish school- will utterly RUIN your credit.
If at all possible, i recommend staying away from student loans and try to get grants and scholarships for as much as possible.
